I'm having 60 people over to my house this weekend for a birthday party. The two nests are in the rafters of the patio. The mothers always leave their nests when people are outside on the patio. this party will have people on the patio most of the night. If the mother birds are disturbed for the 6-8 hours this party is going on, am I putting the baby birds in jeopardy? The party is taking place at night when the birds are usually quiet. Looking to go into FDNY EMS. If anyone out there is an EMT for the FDNY, i know what the listed salary from the FDNY website is, but i'm asking you how much did you actually earn in your first year? With OT, fringe etc, how much were you able to make? I really want to join, but i'm nervous abut taking a paycut, so I want some real life input. thank you.
