Why Does My Cat Eat Toothpaste?

I have a 4 year old fat kitty, she has some weird habits. My husband is in the military and she rubs allover his sweaty socks and stinky shoes when he takes them off and at night she snuggles with us and tries to lick our armpits. She doesn't like people food even shrimp but she likes chapstick and toothpaste. Why does she like these things!?
