What do you Mary Magdalene's role was in his ministry and in standing by him thru his pionate sorrow?

There is so much speculation. And while I have not let my self be tainted by any and all the da Vinci stuff, I feel he had a special bond with as no other. Is this something that will be more revealed as time goes on. I hope you will share your honest feelings. God bless you all
