Christiand do you agree with this statistic?

i prefer to judge people based on their character not their religious (or lack of religious) beliefs. it saddens me to read alot of the questions and answers posted on this site. people can be very nasty . i dont understan why we cannt just accept eachother for who we are. i realize that many of us christians bring this hostility upon ourselves by our self-righteous, judgemental attitudes. as a christian is makes me sad to see other "christians" using our religion as an excuse to spread fear and hatred.
