Job prospetcs in US after MS?

I am planning to do masters in mechanical engg. Probably with a CAD/CAM or a non-conventional energy resources as a specilization. What are the job prosecpts and what is the probablity of landing in good job or should I consider an mba. Considering the duration being 1yr.
