When you email the owner using the link at the bottom of your group page why does it also go to the moderators

I am owner of a group. Someone emailed me using the link for group-owner at the bottom of my groups home page complaining about a moderator. This email went to me (owner) and the moderators. Is there some how to change this setting? I would think that if you emailed the owner using that link it would only go to the owner. Thanks for any help
