Why do all child made-for-TV-movies suck now?

Disney used to make nice moves like Smart House, The Thirteenth Year, and Brink. Movies made by Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon usually lack a plot, a nice budget, direction, or good actors. Now they're corny and lame.
